Then There Were Three Part 1 and 2 are two of the greatest books I've ever read. Well written, well thought-out, not rushed, just a little too good to be true and a little over the top. Whenever we read fiction, watch tv, rent a dvd, go to a play, or to the movies, the whole point of the matter is to suspend our disbelief. Tom Cruise is not an international spy named "Ethan Hunt". He's Tom Cruise. Wesley Snipes is not notorious drug lord "Nino Brown". He's Wesley Snipes. Tyler Perry is not an older woman named, Madea. He's Tyler Perry. But for those two hours, we suspend our disbelief, we break away from reality and allow ourselves to believe Tom Cruise really is Ethan Hunt, that Wesley Snipes really is Nino Brown, that Halle Berry really is Catwoman, that there really is a dimension-jumping psycho out there named Freddy Krueger, and that there really is a murdering lunatic out there named Michael Myers. And we imagine for those few moments, that what we are witnessing is real and actually happened. We suspend our disbelief and allow ourselves to become scared, frightened, sad, angry, disappointed, happy, joyful etc. We celebrate the hero's victory, and we celebrate the villain's defeat. We mourn the victim's loss, and we get angry when the bad guy escapes - even though none of it is real! When the curtain rises, we stand and applaud, grab our car keys and head back into the world of reality. Otherwise it would be a total waste of time and money to give audience to any form of fiction. These two stories were undoubtedly too perfect. This story was absolutely too good to be true. And for that reason alone, made it very difficult to suspend my disbelief. This story was CLEARY written by a man, which is disappointing and somewhat dishonest and deceitful to the reader, because in the book, the story is told to us by one of the FEMALE characters. Both stories embody the deepest, darkest primal desires of the male species and the female characters simply defer to anything the male character desires. The natural inclination of women is NOT to submit, and certainly not to share their man. Yet, they lived happily ever after from the first paragraph, right to the very last. And that was very disappointing. No drama, no controversy, no obstacles to overcome, no arguments, no persuasion, no give-and-take, no trials or tribulations or storms to weather. Just sexual and social bliss from start to finish. A little over the top. But now.... add few trials and tribulations and controversy for the characters to overcome... take us on the journey of how the characters win through adversity, conquer their problems, work out their differences and persevere until they are victorious over everything that tried to stop them, and thennnnnnnnn live happily ever after... Oh, hell. These books would have been worthy of 10 stars. Make the characters 'earn' their happily ever after. Don't just give it to them on a silver platter. We can't relate to that in our own lives. Nothing is given to us on a silver platter without a fight! And anything worth having is worth fighting for. And these characters didn't have to lift a finger, except to stick it in someone. But still, I gave 5 stars because they were well written, well thought out, a joy to read and good fodder for lazy daydreams.

Then There Were Three edition by Fefee Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

Renae and Tracy have been best friends for many years. Renae thinks she knows all about her friend, but really she doesn't because Tracy has a surprise of her life when she goes to Tracy's and her husband house. That is all I will say because I will give the rest away if I keep going LOL ) but I can tell you it gets hot and heavy!
This was just out right nasty! I am not the type that would want to be around a bunch of swingers. Why say you're leaving and isn't down with what's going on but end up staying and joining yhe festivities?! Who does that? I didn't even bother with the other books. Not for me
This was hot. I really mean it. I read my fair share of erotic literature, and this really had my imagination going, which for me is a sign of a good read. If you like this type of material, I would recommend this....even read it with your partner, you never know what could happen...lol
I bought this book on a whim and wasn't disappointed. It was a very good read. I will definitely be looking forward to part 2. I read some of the other reviews and agree that the story line isn't very realistic but hey...it was enough to make me wonder how many people are really into this type of thing. I read this book in one sitting and I have a very short attention span so that says a lot!
This book was crazy as hell.I kinda figured they were swingers once the party started going the way they come out the room naked. Then it was a shock for them to actually start a relationship together and then they all wanted to marry each other was crazy to me.But if that's wat makes them happy then so be it,can't wait to read the second one lol
There are a lot of grammatical errors in this book but you still get the gist of what the story is about. That would be lots of kinky sex with a few threads of story in between. The dialogue had me rolling my eyes though...thinking this is how black folks talk now?? There is also a part in the epilogue where she calls the main character 'Wayne' by the name Derrick. Overall though it was pretty good.
The book's cover led me to think the story would have a lesbian plot, one in which one woman would convince the other one, who'd probably be straight, to wade into different waters with her. Interesting, considering I am a lesbian. When I read it, the story was different. Yes, persuasion is there, but it is completely different from what I expected!

I enjoyed the read. I found certain aspects completely true. Yes, non-swinging folks can be intrigued by swinging and decide to stay! And the characters were believable. I found the ending satisfying!

I would read the second book. And as an author, I love writing about love and romance and taboo also!
